This is arguably one of the best hotels in town. It’s located centrally, next to the Wang Fu Shopping Street and within a walking distance to the Tiananmen Square. The hotel also has a hidden secret in its basement - the only one tropical pool in town, covered with a skyline of glittering starts, with the surrounding beautifully decorated with green tropical plants and various bird chirping sounds.

This grand hotel is managed by the renowned Peninsular Group. It is located in fantastic location in central Wang Fu Jing District. There are a few high end shopping outlets so do not forget to check them out.

This hotel boasts fantastic facilities for the tourist. Standard rooms are not that roomy but they’re good enough if you want to stay the whole day on tour. Its best quality is of course its location.

Price: £30-60

This is one of the top hotels in Beijing. It’s pretty ornate, with excellent service and its even-numbered rooms offer fantastic views of the Beihai Park as well as the Forbidden City. In addition, it’s also a reasonable walk to Tiananmen Square. This is an ideal place to splurge in Beijing if you’ve got a few quid to spare.

Price: £60-90

This reasonably priced hotel is located near the Beijing Train Station with easy access to the underground and local buses. It’s rather comfortable with comfy rooms and reliable hot water, though the beds might not be great. There’s also cable TV that offers English channels so it should keep you pretty relaxed in the evening.
